Conditions of the Supply.
FOREWORD
Our company, as certified by the Quality Manual, has Customer Satisfaction as its primary objective. In order to achieve this goal, the Company considers it appropriate to define certain rules aimed at establishing a long-lasting and correct relationship with the Customer, going beyond the requirements imposed by our ISO 9001 compliant Quality Management System.
a) Cooperation with the Customer
When establishing a new business relationship, the Company makes its technical resources available to the Customer in order to fully define the subject matter of the contract, namely the characteristics of the treatment to be carried out.
The Company performs standard treatments, the results of which are guaranteed within the tolerances allowed by the applicable standards.
The Company is also willing to evaluate, on a case-by-case basis, the feasibility of treatments. During this phase, our Technical Department supports the Customer in defining the type of coating, technical characteristics, processing methods, and the parameters to be achieved.
b) Sales Orders
All orders must include the following information:
- Type of material(s)
- Quantity
- Delivery terms
- Requested treatment
- Applicable standards
- Customer technical specifications
- Payment terms
- Packaging
- Delivery terms
During negotiations and/or requests for quotation, the Customer shall provide technical specifications, inspection methods, traceability requirements.
For repetitive supplies, the Company may define standard conditions applicable for the entire contractual period, reserving the right to modify them in the event of objective market changes.
As the processes are continuous-cycle operations, the Company reserves the right to establish minimum quantities per production batch.
c) Receipt and Delivery of Materials
Incoming materials are inspected in accordance with Company procedures. In the event of Non-Conformities with the accompanying documentation, the material will be set aside and made available to the Customer, who shall decide on the appropriate action.
Delivery of products will be according to the customer .The Company shall not be liable for damage or loss occurring during transportation.
d) Confidentiality
The Customer undertakes to keep confidential and not to disclose any confidential information, technical specifications, or processing methods learned during the business relationship.
SUPPLY CLARIFICATIONS
Following the misunderstandings that regularly arise regarding the supply of production batches between our company and customers, we would like to provide the following clarifications:
The request for treatments must be accompanied by precise characteristics in order to obtain a process that satisfies the user’s needs and in compliance with applicable regulations. In particular, it is essential that the requests satisfy:
- Customer’s specifications or procedure with reference to applicable regulations
- Drawings of the parts complete with tolerances, thicknesses to be reported, etc.
- Type of material (commercial name or chemical formula)
- Agreement between the parties for the definition of the controls to be carried out on the produced parts
- Any 2.1 or 3.1 certification to be issued (on request).
The treatments carried out by ANELOTTI ORESTE are FUNCTIONAL, NOT AESTHETIC, coatings and are performed in accordance with current international standards such as ISO EN, ASTME, BS STANDARD, NSF, etc., and in the food sector are in strict compliance with MOCA directives.
The performance of the coatings is not affected by any color variations, yellowing over time, and/or non-uniformity of appearance, visual anomalies described above will NEVER be rejected.
COMMUNICATION REGARDING PROCESSING PRICES
Price Determination
First of all, we deem it appropriate to inform that the pricing of our processing activities is determined by taking into account the following parameters:
- volume of the individual part;
- quantity of processed material, calculated per barrel or per specially prepared rack;
- required coating thickness;
- specific weight;
- surface area;
- quality level required for the processing.
Each individual part therefore requires a specific price, which cannot be applied to other processing activities, whose costs must be determined on a case-by-case basis.
In light of the above, customers who must in turn prepare quotations for their own clients are invited to request in advance a cost determination for each individual part to be processed, in order to avoid misunderstandings that may result in economic losses.
The Company hereby declares its full availability for effective and constructive cooperation.
TECHNICAL ADJUSTMENTS WITHIN THE “TOTAL QUALITY” PROJECT
As long highlighted by the specialized press, product orientation toward the concept of “Total Quality” has become a strategic priority in industrial policy in Italy as well. This means that every product—especially those with high intrinsic value—must be manufactured at every stage with the utmost care and attention in order to enhance its full potential.
Our Company is fully aware of this evolution and, within the scope of its responsibilities, has made the necessary investments to pursue this objective. Since Total Quality can only be achieved through the contribution and active involvement of all companies participating in each stage of the product realization, we request your cooperation, which will in any case result in mutual benefit.
In this context, we wish to draw your attention to the following recommendations and requirements which, if implemented, will allow the processing activities to achieve optimal results:
each processing operation should be accompanied by a specification sheet containing the required characteristics and parameters;
each material to be processed should be accompanied by a technical datasheet describing its physical composition;
materials must be free from oils, greases, rust, grinding or abrasive pastes, and any other chemical substances that may interfere with the treatments or reduce their effectiveness;
when necessary, customers are encouraged to request our technical advice in advance regarding the most appropriate, cost-effective, and suitable treatments for the intended results (it is in any case our standard practice to recommend the most appropriate processes to our customers).
We also deem it appropriate to point out that:
a) treated parts may show different shades if they have been partially machined prior to treatment;
b) the Company cooperates with a well-equipped chemical laboratory capable of identifying the causes of incorrect processing or treatments;
c) inspections of treated materials must be carried out immediately and any claims must be submitted within a short period; rejected parts must be accompanied by a non-conformity report and cannot be accepted after they have undergone further processing;
d) in order to avoid unproductive disputes, the Company reserves to keep the sample parts and perform the necessary checks in the event of disagreements regarding the treatments carried out.
